Printing and the Low Hanging Fruit...

In today’s economy, saving every little penny counts! Are you just saving every penny in your personal bank account? Or, are you actually helping your company save money too? You are probably wondering, Nikki, what the heck are you talking about!?

Typically printing is an overlooked area to take advantage of savings in the form of "low hanging fruit". That is, it’s easy to do, but commonly not thought of. It’s okay; don’t beat yourself up over it.

Take a look at how you are currently producing marketing collateral and interoffice communications. Can some items be consolidated? Are there items that you have printed too much of, which all too often become obsolete? Maybe looking at more of a just in time solution would help? Or, you could be printing some pieces in an effort to generate interest in your product or service, but you’re not able to track the results.

All of these issues are common problems within any company’s purchasing and marketing departments. It’s time you took the bull by the horns and show your company that you can make a difference.
